I went to this show. I was a freshman in high school. This whole show at the Cow Palace in SF was amazing. I remember this moment. You can’t hear it here but the crowd went wild once they realized it was actually Chino.

I watch this like once a week lol and I love how after chino goes crazy Phil’s energy picks up immediately

just saw them last thursday for their 20th anniversary... them playing this was unreal

When people ask me about Deftones this is what I am talking about. You don’t know Chi and his back up vocals. Pre-2008 was Deftones to the max.

It’s really something how some music, some bands, can write a song and play it for 30 years and nothing changes. And then there are groups like this, where you can only get that song how it was first made for a short and limited time. I still love the Deftones. And I know I have to time travel to revisit when certain songs could be played like this. One Weak was/ is a faaaaavorite. Great video. Great performance. Peace

I’m not sure when this was but Deftones rarely used to cover this song. I had tickets to their show at the Palladium…. I had gotten picked up by the cops for truancy in Santa Monica earlier that day so my mom said I couldn’t go to the show with my big bro. Somehow my dad just let me go to the show anyway. Deftones played The Chauffeur that night and it was fucking epic. I was a teenager… I’m 36 now. Epic memory.
